BEFORE RUSSIA LAUNCHED ITS WAR ON UKRAINE, OUR COMMUNITY OF 50 YOUNG TEACHER-LEADERS WERE TEACHING MORE THAN 10 000 CHILDREN IN RURAL AREAS OF UKRAINE. NOW, MOST OF THEM HAD TO RELOCATE TO SAFER PLACES TO AVOID DAILY SHELLINGS, SHOOTINGS, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA. THIS CONCERNS ALMOST EVERY CHILD IN UKRAINE.
WAR IN UKRAINE PROMPTS TFU TO SHIFT ITS FOCUS TO PROVIDING PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND SAFE LEARNING TO OUR STUDENTS AND OTHER KIDS WHO HAVE SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THE RUSSIAN INVASION IN UKRAINE.
YOUR DONATION MEANS WE CAN FURTHER SUPPORT CHILDREN TRAUMATIZED BY THE ONGOING VIOLENCE AND HELP THEM LEARN AND COPE WITH THEIR EXPERIENCES. YOU CAN HELP CHILDREN RECLAIM THEIR FREEDOM TO LEARN.
A project to overcome educational losses and provide social-emotional support to children. Feedback from kids: "You have a cool project! You showed us what a school, teachers, and groups should be like. The children were delighted to study and join the lessons, and in the evenings, when we had our “end of the day conclusions,” they used to tell us what a great class they had. And it was not in the category of “lessons and school,” but the children considered it “vivid impressions.”
